Emotional Intelligence For Beauty and Fashion Professionals

Big Sharks. Small Sharks. Just because you feel like the ‘underdog,’ Never allow anyone to underestimate you.

Tiger Sharks are one of the most dangerous animals in the world. They are about 14 feet long, dominant, intimidating, frightening, and overwhelming, just to look at it, I must say. Personally, I feel that it can destroy you with its mere presence. And then you have the walking shark—and I am not talking about humans, I mean the Epaulette Shark, which is about 27 to 35 inches long capable swimmer. But that little shark can walk along the sea floor and on land. Yes, you heard me right, it can walk. And it gets better; that little shark can survive on land for almost an hour without water. Impressive, isn’t it?

My point is, just because you might not be the most dominating person in the room, that doesn’t mean you don’t have amazing qualities about yourself that only a few people know about. It is your job to show them and establish your authority in your own ways. Just because you are not big and intimidating, that doesn’t mean that you are not capable of surviving where other big ones won’t be able to. You don’t need to be frightening and overwhelming to get the job done and get where you want and need to be to succeed.

And just because everyone underestimates you, that doesn’t mean that you are more than capable of taking on the world on your own. All you need to do, girlfriend, is TRUST YOURSELF, believe in yourself and do something about it. Just because you feel like the underdog, NEVER allow ANYONE to underestimate you.
